High Precision Spindle

  • Double roller bearings and ball bearings fitted on the spindle offer large contact surface ensuring highest rigidity for heavy loads and superior surface finish.
  • We only use premium-grade precision-class P4 bearings that are permanently lubricated.
  • The spindle’s 1) suitable span, 2) heavy cast structure, 3) gear-free design and many other factors all go into eliminating vibration and meeting the highest requirements for rigidity and precision.

High Speed Turret

  • The 8-position tool turret features high precision curvic coupling with powerful hydraulic clamping for heavy cutting.
  • The high turret indexing rate is made possible by a non-stop random indexing system, allowing quick tool change over, high positioning speed and a reduction in non-cutting time.
  • Tool change time takes as little as 0.3 second.

Slide Ways

  • X and Z slideways use employ high rigidity linear guide ways from THK and incorporate high precision ballscrews to ensure rapid feed and high precision performance.
  • THK's heavy load linear guide ways have low friction resistance and low thermal deformation at rapid feedrates to maintain optimum cutting capability over long periods.
  • The ballscrews are preloaded to eliminate backlash.
  • YH-15's high speed capability reduces non-cutting time and is critical to profitable machining.
  • A central lubrication system automatically feeds oil to the axes.

Machine Base

The one-piece, Meehanite casting base has been proven to have significant advantages for precision turning. The uniformly dense, fine grained castings distribute stress and heat throughout the machine's entire structure.

Chip Conveyor

Unique design of the chip conveyor ensures perfect alignment and compact space requirement. Side exit is standard. Rear exit is available as an option.
