The new Diamond 12 has up to 10 axes, a 13mm (0.51") turning

    order option. Diamond 12CS uses ER11 collets, and
    Diamond 16CS uses ER16 collets.

  • Mitsubishi Control – Featuring Mitsubishi E60 control for high
    performance 64-bit processing.

  • Spindle Indexing – 5° spindle indexing comes as standard.
    1° spindle indexing and C-axis (0.001°) are available options.

  • Compact size – With a 4×3 ft footprint, it is a versatile lathe
    that will fit easily on your shop floor.

Low cost Swiss-type Lathe

Find out how affordable Swiss turning can be. Diamond 12CS and Diamond 16CS series gives the best bang for the buck in its class. The full complement of tool positions allows larger part families to be run without re-doing setups. In addition to 6 OD turning tools and 4 ID tools, it also comes with 4 live tools for the cross side and 3 live tools for the front end (available option). The built-in 12,000 rpm spindle ensures fast parts machining and superior surface finish in record time. A cutting position close to the guide bush enhances rigidity and accuracy.
